As the Country is faced with the unprecedented impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Etiqa Philippines stands with the Community, as well as with our health workers and medical front liners manning the hospitals and facilities, who continue to risk their own health and well-being to provide healthcare in these critical times.
Guided by its core values and a spirit of humanizing, the Company distributed thousands of complete sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to its partner hospitals and medical institutions throughout Metro Manila for the use of their doctors, nurses and medical staff as they face their daily duty of caring for our countrymen who have been affected by this dangerous disease.
From April 24 until May 6th, 2020, the PPE sets were delivered to more than 14 major hospitals such as The Medical City, St. Luke’s Medical Center in both Quezon City and Taguig, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Makati Medical Center, The Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Lung Center of the Philippines, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, and ManilaMed. The representatives from these institutions expressed their gratitude for the aid they received by sending messages of thanks to Etiqa Philippines.
This is a continuation of the work being done under Etiqa Cares, the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program that aims to provide assistance to those most in need during times of adversity. "It is our fervent hope that with this gesture of support, we may help the nation move forward while weathering this crisis", says Rico T. Bautista, President & Chief Executive Officer of Etiqa Philippines.
